Madras Cements has satisfactorily commissioned its third cement plant in Alathiyur, the second in Tamil Nadu. The Company Jayantipuram unit lost almost a month production due to breakdown of raw mill. The clinker plant of Alathiyur unit was commissioned in March while the grinding unit was commissioned in May.
